Milan Rescue Squad Goes Electronic

The Milan Rescue Squad started using an electronic Prehospital Care Report (ePCR) on February 12th. This new system will have many advantages for our responders. One of the big advantages is legibility. We can all now read the Captain's PCRs even with his terrible hand writing. The system allows us to store a limited amount of data on an encrypted tablet that will allow us to find previous alarms for a particular person. It will ease first responders jobs by pulling information from previous calls and by automatically submitting required information to New York State.
